Buenos Aires, December 9 (NA) – The Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, was today received in the Chamber of Deputies by the nearly complete bloc of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), which summoned him to explain the Council of May reforms included by the Government in the extraordinary session agenda.

Before the attentive listening of libertarian deputies in office and elected, the minister headed a master class in the White Hall on the ground floor of the Legislative Palace, accompanied by the Secretary of Deregulation of the State, Alejandro Cacace, and the Secretary of Transformation of the State and the Public Function, Maximiliano Fariña.

According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to appreciate, some of the libertarian deputies arrived at the meeting with notebooks under their arms to take notes.

Sturzenegger attended the Chamber of Deputies at the specific request of the head of the La Libertad Avanza (LLA) bloc, Gabriel Bornoroni, who expressed great satisfaction with the call of his bloc.

As the Córdoba native clarified to the accredited media, including the Argentine News Agency (NA), Tuesday afternoons were established for the meetings of the libertarian bloc.

For the extraordinary session period that begins this Wednesday until December 30, the approval of the 2026 Budget Law and the Fiscal Innocence Law is expected.

The labor reform, the tax reform, the reform of the Penal Code and the reform of the Glacier Law will be left for the second call to extraordinary sessions, scheduled for the second half of January and the month of February, NA learned from an official deputy who has permanent access to the Casa Rosada.

Both the labor reform and the reform of the Glacier Law will begin their journey in the Senate next week.

Meanwhile, the "Educational Freedom" law and the regulatory modifications to ensure the "inviolability of private property" will be pending to be addressed once the ordinary 2026 session begins in March.

Patricia Bullrich, who will be the head of the Senate bloc, had previously expressed her desire to finalize the labor and Penal Code reforms in December.

"We came to listen, mainly to the three projects."

Upon arriving at the Legislative Palace, Sturzenegger quickly crossed the ground floor cafeteria accompanied by a group of advisors who made a hallway for him to enter the White Hall of the Legislative Palace, dodging the press.

The same happened with the outgoing Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, who resigned from the cabinet this Monday to assume as a national deputy this Wednesday.

The president of the Budget and Finance Committee, Alberto 'Bertie' Benegas Lynch, also took a moment to chat with the press despite arriving a few minutes late.

The newcomers Virginia Gallardo and Karen Reichardt arrived together, very smiling, while Sergio "Trunk" Fligliuolo also entered with them with the most serious expression.

Sebastián Pareja, the electoral strategist who will be the eyes and ears of Karina Milei in Congress, clarified to the press that he had not requested to preside over any committee, and before entering the White Hall, dedicated several minutes to taking a phone call.

A little earlier, Lilia Lemoine had entered, who arrived alone and spoke with the press upon leaving the meeting.

Other deputies who participated in the meeting were, among others, Lisandro Almirón, Juliana Santillán, Carlos Zapata, Damián Arabia, Patricia Vásquez, Laura Rodríguez Machado, Silvana Giudici, Diego Hartfield, Alejandro Fargosi, Laura Soldano, Santiago Pauli, Álvaro Martínez, Mariano Campero, Santiago Santurio, Pablo Ansaloni and Andrea Vera.
